I have a cheque dishonoured. I have informed the person in writing, but no response, what should be done to register a case of cheating, and which place it should be filed? The place of the bank, where the cheque was dishonoured or the place where the cheque was handed?

CAN THE DEDUCTION OF THE DEBT OWED IN RELATION TO A PARTICULAR ASSET CAN BE MORE THAN THE VALUATION OF THAT ASSET,IF THERE ARE ALSO OTHER ASSETS AS PER SEC
2(ea)against which the deduction of debts owed is less in aggregate.

i hav cleard p.c.c n as per latest rules n regulations i cn gve final xam 6 months earlier i.e nov'11............now i m also takin industrial in itc..............n also stydng in st.xaviers so i m nt havin ny tym left 4 ny takin ny tutns as m bsy 4m morng 6am to 11 pm......so wat shud i do?
shud i start self study or not do industrial..............?or shud i gve xam in may'12?

At work I have access only to payment entries. But want to learn how sales,purchases, esic,pf, pt entries are made along with resp. taxes like service tax, mvat etc. have no idea on this - am only m.com

A member of the Institute of CA of India is non practising Chartered Accountant working in an organisation and in the organisation there are only 5 working days, ie; Monday to Friday, and 2 days are leaves.

Can such member obtain COP from the institute to practice only on Saturday & Sunday?

Is it possible to practice in such condition?

Paperwise exemption meaning? in which i got 60 or more marks will be exempt? or all subject of 1st group exempt?
