07 August 2010 Dear experts,
At work I have access only to payment entries. But want to learn how sales,purchases, esic,pf, pt entries are made along with resp. taxes like service tax, mvat etc. have no idea on this - am only m.com
Is anyone willing to share their company's data ? if yes, pls send the tally compatible file after deleting company's name.

08 August 2010 No one will give the company data like this, my suggestion better you go to some training class for learn the same

09 August 2010 ok...have started inquirying at classes. can you tell what shld I learn in accounts and tax (practical part)....one institute asked me to list the things that i want to learn.

09 August 2010 Generally if you have accounting knowledge it will be easy to under concept in tally, now present tally having the following features, so you can ask the same

1. Basic data entry
2. Stock and inventory maintenance
3. Tax ( VAT, ST,TDS)
4. Pay roll process
5. Import and export of data
6. Master creations
