What are the requirements to start a work to providing part time accounting services as I have job experience of 4 years in maintaining books of accounts in a firm in which I have done all sales tax returns and service tax returns filing with bookkeeping.Is there any requirement of having proper knowledge of accounting standards for this and what kind of knowledge should I maintain to give best services in this profession.

i am a sub-broker of religare securities ltd. they have introduced a contest in which certain brokerage targets was fixed. I achieved the target & hence i got the prize/gift. Now company is saying that i need to pay 30% tax on the value of such gift(value of gift 12000/-). Are they justified in deducting TDS @ 30% under section 194B?

i came to know that we can do only 1 degree with CA.

Hi I am the student of IPCE and doing (3 years) articleship with one of the mid size firm. I have completed nearly 2 Years and 9 months articles ship. But now I cant continue same on my own constraint. So is it possible to discontinue the at such stage.My principal is also ready to give me transfer but my 2 1/2 months article is still pending for completion.

Please help me on this.

If I will discontinue within how many months again I have to rejoin it as time gap for joining the same.

hello sir,I want to know that is there any rule to take transfer in 1st year of articleship b'coz there is no approval from my principal and he told that don't come to office still I don't call you so in this situation my article period is affected b'coz its a leave for me. I request also but he don't give me transfer ,I don't konw when he will call me ,so in this situation what should I do? b'coz institute is not help in this matter plz give some suggestion.
