Opening of an account for a minor:

(a) In view of complaints being received about non-opening of accounts for minor by some Agency banks, it is reiterated that as per Rule 3 (1) of PPFScheme, 1968, an individual may, on his own behalf or on behalf of a minor, of whom he is the guardian, subscribe to the Public Provident Fund . Further it is reiterated that as clarified, vide Ministry of Finance letter F.7/34/88/-NS II dated November 17, 1989, either father or mother can open a PPF account on behalf of his/her minor child but not both.

can TDS be deduct on cash payment? and if i`m taking my vehicle service from one place continue then it will be fall in the rule of TDS.

Pls ans these Qts. wrt CMA:

1)If no specific info is given by mgmt for a expense/income then can we use trend() or forecast() function of excel to project data for that exp./income?

2) Does the CMA format vary from bank to bank?

3)finally, does the bank give their format(forms 1 to 6) in soft copy wherein we can enter the co's data? or the applicant has to create the forms based on the hard copy given by bank?

If gross salary brk up is:
Basic 9000
HRA 3000
other 2800
total 14800
PF is: 9000*12% (employee contri)
9000*13.61% (employers)
ESIC @ 4.75% & 1.75%

If employee worked only for 20 days then will there be any change in PF & ESIC calc.
Is ESIC calc on gross salary(standard) or gross payable (considering absent days)

If I am an individual using savings bank account, then I should mention 'INDIVIDUAL' under Constitution.

Query 2

If I am doing Sole Proprietary Business through this current account, then I should mention 'SOLE PROPRIETOR' under Constitution.

Though I am sure, I need the Experts to confirm the same or clarify my doubt.
