10 April 2018 dear sir i had return filed ay 17-18 nil i can pay tax through of filed belated return. whether belated return i can filed to day 10/04/2018

10 April 2018 No... The Return date are closed on 31st March 2018. No way for filing ITR AY 16-17 and 17-18... If You have refund process or losses then you file condonation otherwise no way.

13 May 2018 first file an application with the jurisdictional Commissioner of Income-Tax seeking condonation of delay in filing the return. the application should mention in detail the reasons for not filing the return within the due date. Once the condonation application is accepted by the Commissioner and an order condoning the delay is passed by the Commissioner, then you can file the income tax return online. A copy of the order is required to be attached on the e filing portal.
