11 November 2010 What is a balance sheet abstract and general business profile?.Is it forms part of director's report?Whether an Auditor will sign it or the director's signature is sufficient? Why many companies do not prepare it. In Most of the companies auditor do not sign it? What is the reason?

11 November 2010 Balance sheet abstract, as the name indicates,is the condensed figures of the balance sheet filled in a specified format.The Auditor is not supposed to sign the same. At least two directors has to sign it mandatorily. The balance sheet abstrct along with Schedule V to the companies Act, has to be attached in pdf format in e-form 20B and has to be e-filed to the MCA website.
