in audit , SA610 is included in may17 practice manual but announcement of bos portal does not specify it.why such contradiction and what view to follow?

The amendments applicable for May 2017 Examination announcement hosted on ICAI website clearly mentions students to refer to "SA 610 (Revised) Using the Work of Internal Auditors". There is no confusion, you need to study revised SA for May 2017 examination.

Follow BOS Announcement as SA 701 is not covered, we understand anxiety from students point of view, these kind of anomalies can be avoided or a corrigendum can be issued.
