At which rate should i collect service tax @ 14% or 12.36%

04 May 2015 As a service provider I am gonna deposit service tax by 07th of May 2015 for the month of April 15. I want at which rate should I deposit service tax to Govt @ 14% or @ 12.36%. Has 14% of service tax been effected since 01 April 2015???

04 May 2015 no new rate is applicable... til nw

til the new rate gets notified, old rate i.e. 12.36 % wil b there

04 May 2015 You need to wait for notification as the new rate is not yet notified. As of now 12.36% is applicable. Also check out the CBDT clarification from link given below:

19 May 2015 Revised Service Tax Rate will be applicable from 01.06.2015.
