For AY 2008/09 I have not recd.an order.
I paid Advance Tax of 50000/- and had a refund due of 2000.
The report online shows there is an outstanding demand of 51000.
What can I do to get this cleared ?

Write a letter to your Assessing Officer stating the matter clearly and enclosing the copy of relevant documents like the advance tax challan and acknowledgement copy of your return.
