13 July 2013 there is huge difference between total amount paid or credited as per AS 26 and income under form 16.which income should i enter in itr.which income should be considered by income tax department to process the return.

please fill the correct amount in ITR and ask deducted to revise the return.

13 July 2013 IT Dept will consider income as per form 16. But if you want to show income in your ITR as per 26AS then send request to your Deductor for revise the particular return.

13 July 2013 YES AS INCOME TAX DEPT WILL ALWAYS PREFER 26AS STATEMENT RATHER FORM 16.
SO ASK UR DEDUCTEES TO REVISE RETURN.
