Is it necessary to be registered as an article assistant before appearing PCE though the student has completed 18 months of training?

Yes. You must have total 15 months of articleship and then opt for threee months leave.

i had already attempted pce this nov and i had taken transfer from My firm. I had no itention to join any CA firm before june as i ll be appearing PCE again?so what should i do?

i had completed 18 months of articleship .i had already attempted PCE this nov'08and i had taken transfer from My firm. I had no intention to join any CA firm before june '09 as i ll be appearing may 09 PCE again.is it required to get re-registered under any CA firm to appear PCE exams?
