I cleared my group-1 of ipcc in may 2012 attempt and registered for articles in oct 2012.. later on i received a letter from ICAI during july-2013 stating me to submit orientation certificate..
My..query is whether my articles counts from oct 2012 r not
and i will be thankful if any one help me to get a postal address to which i has to forward my orientation certificate.

13 July 2013 If u rec letter from icai stating that ur articleship commences from xyz date shall be counted as the starting date of ur artcileship.

13 July 2013 1)send copy of orientation certifcate to postal address provided in letter you have received..if no address available in letter you have received send to address where you have send articleship documents

2)Yes..if you have registered for articles after completing orientation programme no need to bother your articleship registration will be valid only...

ICAI asked because you might have forgot to send copy along with articleship registration documents

Send asap

It is recommended to send these documents along with a covering letter stating that you are sending this documents with reference to letter received from icai and request them to do the need ful and ask them to complete the process of articleship registration asap
