16 May 2015 Dear Experts,
While taking name approval of subsidiary of Foreign Company, we encountered with and error, “If the promoter is a foreign company then need a appositlle copy of board resolution is required”.

My query is that, what is appostitlle copy of Board Resolution and how to encounter with the same.

16 May 2015 Foreign company has to convene a board meeting in which a resolution may be passed to incorporate a subsidiary company in India. If the foreign company is in a Common wealth country, certified copy of the resolution should be authenticated abroad at the apostille's office. If in other country the said copy of the resolution should be authenticated by the concerned embassy abroad. This document should form part of the name approval form.
