Can a whole time director be appointed in a BM? Within what time limit the appointment is to be approved in AGM/EGM?

IN A BOARD MEETING YOU CANT APPOINT WHOLE TIME DIRECTOR. YOU CAN APPOINT AN ADDITIONAL DIRECTOR AND HIS APPOINTMENT CAN BE REGULARIZED AT AGM.
