Appointment of director

we have a private company with issued and subscribed capital of Rs 100,000/-and 2 directors Mr.k and Mr.A .Mr.A wants to resign and Ms.N will be appointed as Additional Director now my question is whether it is ok to have 1 director and 1 additional director on the board or we should appoint 1 more Additional director or ask Mr.A to continue till AGM or any other solution

One director and one addl. director will suffice However, Mr. A should resign after the appointment of Ms. N.
