06 March 2013 What are the rules for appointment of a cost auditor? How should an auditor be appointed if commercial production of the plant commences in March of a FY for the first time? Will cost audit be required for March?

06 March 2013 You didn't answer my query. I shall re-state the same:

We are a fertiliser plan under construction. We 'may' begin commercial production in March next year? Are we supposed to appoint a cost auditor with first 90 days of FY 2013-14? What if we appoint one, but we begin commercial production in 2014-15? Basically, I want to know how the FIRST COST AUDITOR of the company is appointed.
