Applicability of gratuity to contractual workers

11 November 2013 Dear Sir,

Can you please clarify that contractual workers are also eligible for gratuity, in case they work continuously for five year with same contractor and same principal employer? If yes, how principal employer can make work out?

12 November 2013 There have been judgments for applicability of gratuity to contracted employees.
