Hi,
One of my Client has started his own brand of Shoes. Now, he will purchase from manufacturer from Agra and then will relabel and branding that product in Delhi to sale. His turnover will not cross more than Rs.50 lakh for this year.
Kindly advise that, do he need to register and pay the Excise duty as he is relabel-ling the same in Delhi and it is also deemed manufacture.

since his turnover is below the requirement for registration no need to register. ssi exemption is available to you.
17 September 2016
No need to registered under central excise upto 1.5 crore turnover.
