Annual Returns in case of nil return filed by a company

21 December 2010 Pls advise whether annual return is required to file before the ROC by a company incorporated on 21/01/2010 and filed a NIL IT return for the FY.2009-10

21 December 2010 The Annual Return to be filed u/s. 159 of the Companies Act, 1956 has no connection with the IT Return.

In case your first financial year is from date of incorporation of the Company till 31/03/2010 and you have prepared the financial statements and the same have been adopted by the members in the AGM, then Form 20B has to be filed within 60 days of the AGM.
