As a employer I have given salary to employees by various allowances like Basic, HRA, Other allowances.
But while filling TDS return consultant has shown entire salary under sec 17(1).
So can employees bifurcate this salary into Basic and HRA separately while filling ITR ?

Have you given them form 16? Or Salary certificate with all this bifurcation?

Form 16 is given, but salary bifurcation is not mentioned over their.
Only Gross Salary (Total sum of bifurcation)

So, consider it as gross salary without any allowance. CPC will not allow any deduction without form 16 bifurcation.
