Please advice,
my uncle have only agriculture income and they had never file ITR, a notic eis received from department to file ITR,
Please advice the matter for reply for closing the file,

No need to file ITR in case of only agricultural income. Check whether interest earned on any bank deposits, if no interest earned, reply to the notice saying earning only agricultural income not liable to file ITR.
