suppose we purchased P&M in P.Y. 08-09. but installed and used it on 14-04-2009. so, will we be provided additional depreciation of 20% in P.Y. 09-10 or not...

Yes, if the P&M has been acquired in P Y 08-09 but put to use in PY 09-10 on 14-04-2009 , additional depreciation can be claimed @20%.
