Dear Sir,
Is the AD code related to particular company (IEC holder) or its related to bank where they do banking

I found out the answer.
This is related to Bank.
When you need to export the items out of the country, courier fellow will ask for your AD code. Your company has to be registered with the customs, for this you need a letter from your bank stating you bank with them..mention your account no...& banks AD code.
This letter from bank & your IEC copy is to be submitted with your CHA/clearance agent. They will register your company for AD code with custom (one time process)
