I want to know about Accounting System followed by Share Trading Companies regarding book keeping,P&L,Balance Sheet etc.

Treat shares as stock-in-trade , sales of shares as turnover , purchase of shares as Purchases .......as if the share is the commodity dealt with ......rest will follow .
