10 April 2010 Sales tax is the tax which you need to charge on the sales of your product and collect from the buyer -presently this is VAT based you need to calculate the VAT on your sales and VAT on your purchase =First case is called Output VAT and vat on purchase is called input VAT the differecne of the between to is payable/receivable

TDS(Tax Deducted at source) is the Income tax deduction from the payment & expenses paid by you to other parties based on the rate specifed and it is payable 7th of the every month (for the previous month deductions)
