24 December 2013 who issue c form & advantage of c form about purchaser and seller

24 December 2013 During an interstate sale between registered dealers a buyer has to issue a C form to the seller,so that, the latter can charge only 2% CST on the goods sold to the former......mjk

25 December 2013 The buyer of goods can apply for "C" Form or Central Sales Tax form either online or offline from the State Sales tax department, if the buyer is a registered dealer under both State VAT Act & Central Sales tax Act.

"C" Form is required for inter state purchase of goods i.e buying goods from a state other than domestic state.

Advantage : The seller will charge sales tax @2% instead of full rate of VAT as applicable for the said goods.
