04 February 2009 My client is doing service of printers, of which some printers are servied as Authorised Service Centre & some of which are done otherwise.

My question is whether all the service is taxable or only those services as authorised service centre is taxable

10 February 2009 Printing in not covered under service tax- if however the work is done on job work basis, service tax is attracted under business auxiliary service as the process doesnt amount to manufacture.
