03 August 2012 Can anyone explain to me provision under which one is liable 4.12% service tax ?

03 August 2012 I think you are talking about ST on GTA.

Here an abatement of 75% is provided. So ST is payable only on 25% of invoice value.

In this way, the effective rate comes to be 4% + Cess.
