31 July 2010 Just register yourself on the following site.

https://incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/portal/index.jsp

Then after login > click to My account> click on the tag : 26AS statement.

This statement will give a clear view, whether any TDS/TCS deducted/ collected from your income by any deductor/collector has been correctly credited against you PAN or not.

Further, any advance tax paid by you has been actually credited against your PAN by your banker.

31 July 2010 Form 26AS is a online consolidated tax statement issued under Rule 31 AB of Income Tax Rules to PAN holders. This statement, with respect to a financial year, will include details of:
a) tax deducted at source (TDS);
b) tax collected at source (TCS); and
c) advance tax/self assessment tax/regular assessment tax etc., deposited in the bank by the taxpayers (PAN holders).
d) Paid refund received during the financial year

In order to view your tax credit online using Form 26AS, you have to register your PAN at the NSDL site by follwoing the link :
https://onlineservices.tin.nsdl.com/TIN/PanRegistration.do

Also you can view Form 26AS if you are having internet banking facility with select banks and your PAN is updated in the bank database. In such case, no registration is required. At present this facility is available with 7 banks:
1. Citibank N.A.
2. Corporation Bank
3. IDBI Bank Limited
4. Indian Overseas Bank
5. State Bank of India
6. State Bank of Mysore
7. Union Bank of India
