an individual has income from fdr of rs 270000/- he had made investment in fdr of 80c rs 30000/- .He had no any other income,whether ha can issue form 15g for non deduction of tax(f y 2014-15)

in my opinion he can not give due to his total income exceeds the exempt limit Rs. 250000/-

the ans is no as the total income exceeds the basic exemption slab but if eligible u/s 80C u can take benefit
