Women assesse PAN Card

My client is a women assesses she had 1 Pan card before marriage. After marriage she applied for another PAN CARD. Now she has 2 PAN card. Which should be valid PAN card and process of cancellation

What needs to be written to income tax office for cancellation of first pan card

Just request to cancel the PAN enclosed giving reference of the second one which is being used by the assessee.
