Will pan no. change in case of conversion from pv ltd to llp

Hello,
A Pvt Ltd Company has been converted into a LLP. Now I want to amend my PAN Card. My question is whether PAN no. will change(since the 4th Character should now be 'F' instead of 'C') or will it remain constant ie. Permanent as the name Permanent Account Number suggests?

After the conversion you will have to apply for new PAN card. Not only the PAN structure but also the name will change since the word Pvt Ltd will not be there any more.

Since LLP is new entity you will have to apply for new PAN. After the formation of LLP you will be assessed under new PAN and you will have to file return quoting new PAN.
