Will my final attempt shift?

06 April 2012 I started my articleship on 20th September 2011. Hence my 2.5yrs will get over on 19th March 2014. So my attempt is May, 2014. My question is ----- if I take more than 156 days leave before May 2014, will my attempt shift?
