It is tough to provide you with a definitive answer on the above query. However, you need to keep yourself abreast of changes that is taking place around us every time. Today in the era of information explosion, each one of us need to constantly update oneself in order to remain relevant.
Just a few reference material could be like ICAI Journal, Bombay Chartered Accountant journal, Taxmann publication on various statutes etc you can peruse. At the end of the day you need to ensure that you are keeping yourself updated on matters of importance which is relevant for practice. It is tough to state with conviction which is important topic and which is not in initial days of your practice unless you demarcate the territory into which you wish to venture.
