02 December 2007 It has already announced that it will have Training at Centres of ICAI. It may give some colleges which have residential CA CLasses to conduct the training to avoid hardship to all the students. It may scrap the 3 month waiting period as process of registration is simplified. But at present you can hope that you may have to undergo the training at one of the colleges in Ahmedabad or even ICAI Office. Till further announcement comes you can hope to start earliest after 3 months.

03 December 2007 What do you mean by "residential"? Does that mean institution with hostel?

03 December 2007 Residential means ICAI appoints the faculties and there is no hostel for those classes but you can get accommodation in the hostel of those colleges as Articled Assistant. Gujarat Colleges have good hostel facilities.

04 December 2007 Yes. You will get accommodation in College Hostel as you are student of one of the course which is conducted by the College.
