Want information about lic premium deduction

Sir, If any assessee paid his LIC premium in cash then Can he get deduction u/s 80c. There is any provision like Mediclaim that cheque payment is compulsory for getting deduction u/s 80c? Please answer anybody

Can be paid in cash. Deduction will be allowed.
