26 March 2014 If a Indian Person Stay Outside of india for particulars Days as per IT act he is a NRI so i want to ask if the salary received to him there is it taxable in india or not if taxable its condition.

26 March 2014 salary received in India shall be taxable in India...however he can claim credit for taxes paid in India in tax return in country of his residence.

26 March 2014 the rule is simple...if the person is NRI as per indian tax act, income earned in India only shall be taxable in India. rest of the income (earned in any other country) shall be taxed in the respective country.

26 March 2014 if you transfer the money directly from employer's account to the employee's account in India, then it shall be deemed to be received in India and accordingly taxable in India

however, if you receive salary in your personal account outside India and then transfer it to another account in India, it shall not be taxable.
