Two Days earlier I filed a return(in original) for ay 2010-11 online. But it was already filed by some other person manually asking refund. I tried to file it online in revised form but system replied me "this is your first return pl. file in original" idid so, Shoeing additional income & tax adjusted against refund.
Now What happened refund order from Dept. granted before filing 2nd return. I have not submitted ITR-V uptil now.
Should I have torevise return online? If so whether quoting ack. no. of manual return or ack.no. of e-return. Please guide me thanx in advance.

13 January 2011 If original return filed manually,then revised return should also be filed manually.
if the manual return filed within due dt then you can file revise return.

15 January 2011 if you donot send the ITR-V,This form will automatically be rejected.

But on original return filed refund has been granted though not received by the client.
Can I revise the return by deducting some tax from refundable amount

20 January 2011 YES YOU CAN REVISETHE RETURN, PROVIDED THE ORIGINAL RETURN FILED WITHIN DUE DATE.

but refund has been granted, though not received, can vclaim tax payable against such refund or tds
