04 October 2013 Dear Sir,

I belong to UP state and my pin code is 222165 situated at jaunpur district at machhalishahar taluka. i am going to open shop of cloth purchase from out of UP state and want to register under vat & cst but i don't know where i apply. so please help.

also suggest if any other certificate or registration required for it.

please help us

06 October 2013 UP VAT Act extends to whole of Uttar Pradesh. Form VII is required to be filed as an application form for registration and after the completion of registration procedures, the authority of the department issues Form XI which is the certificate of registration. Form XXIV is required to file a return under UP VAT.

Application for registration is to be made on manual mode on Form-VII.

The form can be downloaded from website www.comtax.up.nic.in

The form shall be filed manually with all the required details.

After filing, the form is to be presented before Asstt. Commissioner of Trade & Taxes.
