16 September 2013 Dear Sir,
Suppose a car purchase in 5 lacs and 85% amount was on bank loan.

Then Depreciation is to charge on Rs. 5 lacs or
only on 15% amount of Rs. 75000/- which is paid from own fund.

16 September 2013 depreciation is always charged on the cost of asset , so charge on full 5 lacs.
