and also give the name of any unlisted public company which is popularly Known???

18 August 2011 All listed companies are public companies but all public companies are not listed companies.

All those public companies listed with any of the Recognised Stock Exchange is called Listed companies. These are the companies of which share trading is done.

mobile maker MICROMAX INFORMATICS LIMITED is not a listed company {the company prepairing fto come out wiht an IPO)
