Unclaimed Income and TDS

This query is : Resolved

30 June 2011 An assesse who has filed his incometax return for the A.Y.2009-10 has forget to book an income on which TDS was deducted.this was done innocently and not intentionely. consequently he has also not claimed the credit of TDS for his tax calculation.

Can the assesse now book the income of a.Y.2009-10 in A.Y.2010-11 and take the credit of the TDS deducted previously in the Income tax return of A.Y.2010-11?

30 June 2011 Section 199 of the Income tax act,1961 doesn't permit for such an adjustment.

30 June 2011 Dear Sir,
What is the solution of this problem???Can we revise the return and claim for refund for the TDS?????
