Unabsorbed depreciation

is there any chance to claim unabsorbed depreciation against any head of income other than bp & salary income.suppose last year we r having dep loss of Rs 3crores and this year there is a capital gain of RS 3.7 crores arises on depreciable asset& no other income is there. then how much we r going to pay tax ?

Your entire depreciation will be added with the cost of the asset and short term capital gain will be only 0.70 crores.
