i recived a initmation u/s143 now i would like to rectify u/s 154.what are the steps if any one can send in details.

If the return has been e-filed, rectification has to be filed electronically for which a rectified Xml file has to be created and to be uploaded. In case of manual filing of original return, rectificationa application in paper form has to be filed before the jurisdictional assessing officer with supporting evidence to substantiate the reason for rectification sought for.
