15 August 2018 We have taken gst number . Is it mandatory to charge gst in our invoices ? we are not charging any gst in our invoices . is this correct?

we are also availing transport servies from various transporters and we are paying gst under reverse charge .

wats the correct procedure to be followed in case of transporters.

No need to charge if You are GTA also no need to pay GST under RCM basis service received from another transporter

16 August 2018 As per my view.,
If you are GTA and opt 5% head under without ITC then no need to charge GST...
Bcoz GST payable by Recipient...

17 August 2018 We are in the business of providing transportation services i e our main business income is transportation income does it maen that we are not eligible for paying gst for transportation services what we are availing................pl clarify

17 August 2018 Transportation of Road is exempted under GST...

If GTA service is also exempted in the hands of Service provider (GTA). Liability to Service Receipients
