09 September 2014 No as per my opinion there is no minimum time period prescribed for joining new articleship.

However I would suggest you to wait for the opinion of other experts.

02 August 2025 Hey! About the **transfer duration** for CA articleship or similar training:

* **ICAI Guidelines say:**
When an articled assistant gets a transfer/termination of articles approved, the new articleship should ideally be **joined within 15 days** from the date of termination/transfer approval.

* **Why this matters:**
Continuous training is important. Any significant gap beyond that may not be counted as part of the articleship period.

* **No rigid timeline beyond this** is explicitly mentioned, but it’s best to join ASAP to avoid complications with training recognition.
