tnvat name correction

An assessee name is wrongly spelt in Registration certificate issued under TNVAT. How to effect correction. Is there any form available for this purpose.

If the application made by the dealer was correct, I think no form is required for the same, you just write a letter to the prscribed authority alongwith the original RC. It is a typing mistake at the end of the deptt. and it is their duty to rectify the same.
