What is time period for notice to assessee by Income Tax Department where as assessee has filled the return on 30.09.2009.

Notice u/s 143(2) can be issued with in Six months from the end of the financial year in which return is filed. In the given case financil year ends on 31/3/2010. So notice date expires on 30/09/2010.
