Time limit of share allotment

Please let me know after receiving of share application money within how many days the company has to allot the share,

Pls clarify will share application money contain the date of receipt by company,
Also clarify if company fails to allot the share in this scenario weather company can allot the share even after 2 month if yes any intetest/penalty will be levied on this allotment or not
