I not submitted ITR for AY 2011-12 and for this on 10/03/2018 I have received a notice u/s 148. I want to know it is valid notice i.e. what is time limit for issue of such notice.

Here, notice is issued with in 6 years from the end of the assessment year. It is a
valid notice as per section 149(1)(b).
Ps. :- Maximum time limit is 16 years subject to satisfaction of section 149(1)(c).
